anyplace the super sluthes are on the case

ok so i am up at this hour because one i am bored and have nothing to do... but i am also talking to melody's brother scott cause he is in the hospital with jamie cause she is in labor... yeah thats right IN LABOR... like having a baby... like she is having the baby as i am typing this... she just got the epidural a few mins ago... but she still has her sense of humor... i told her that a blog was kinda like an online journal that i can write my thoughts down. so its kinda like an online account of my life. and she cracked a joke and said wow it must be a short blog... haha... but that's actually really funny cause it is cause i just started it yesterday... well this wont get published till after 12 so tuesday... lol.

scott hasn't really responded in a while so my guess is that the baby is either really close to being born or is being born right now. 12:07 am 4-1-2010

ok so it is 12:23 now and still no word back yet. so im going to let everyone know some things that have been going through my head during all this... i know that its not in my immediate future but somewhere down the road i would like to have kids, and i wonder what that feeling is going to be... i know its going to be enormous joy and love but those are given emotions... i want to know exactly what im going to feel. its not anytime soon but i am really curious.. and i want to know. and to be completely honest i am looking forward to it... cause i know that i am just going to be overwhelmed with emotion the first time i hold my child... i dont know what im going to do... but i will probably look up at my wife, kiss her on the forehead and tell her i love her, the tell our baby to say hello to mommy, and hand the baby over to my wife and watch her reaction from holding our baby for the first time.. and then i will lay down and hold my wife holding our newborn baby. and we will all take a little nap. our first nap as a family.

i know that it is no time soon. but i am still looking forward to it. everyone has always told me that i am going to be a great dad. i just want to be able to believe it myself. well i think im going to go to sleep because i have class in the morning.

Indoor Soccer Match One

Ok so the game was amazing. it was really close the entire game.

i went in to the game with 2:20 left in the first half. immediately got the ball and passed, stole the ball passed, took a shot at goal and missed to the left, took another shot at goal missed right, stole the ball again and was regaining control when i got uprooted. it apparently looked worse than it was. everyone on my team was rushing to make sure i was ok. and i just stood back up and was wondering where my legs went and why i was on the floor... oh and i had to call the foul.

the first half closed 2-1 we were ahead and i was on the court... taking the place of Phillip.

the second half began with a score by the other team tying the game at 2-2. later on in the second half phillip took a shot at goal scored and went down with a hamstring injury. his final condition is not yet known. (will keep you updated)

the other team then came back and tied it up 3-3 and then we had possession of the ball when regulation expired.

the game went on into a set of 5 PK's and the opposing team scored two quick PK's and that is how we ended up with the final score of 5-3.

it was an extremely close game and a great game to start off the season. good job all

Piggly Wiggly

alright so tonight starts up the intermural indoor soccer tournament. i am one of the forwards on the defending champion's team. i am one of the few new players brought onto the team this season. i am anticipating it very much and am anxiously awaiting kick off at 10 p.m. tonight. i think that it will be a very enjoyable game and i have a really good feeling that we are going to win. but it will still be a great game to come out and watch and a good time for anyone in attendance.
