Indoor Soccer Match Five (Playoffs Rd. 1)

the game was a disappointing loss 2-0. the game was a mess and a lot of fouls were called that just weren't there. we didn't attack the goal while they did and one man can only move so fast. those reasons are why we lost and that's it. there is no other explanation and there are no excuses that are needed. we are out of the playoffs. we have next year and thats what we can all look forward to.

till next season. when i will be returning to the game.
the pig will rise again.

Indoor Soccer Match Four

ok so this was the first game i didn't play in. ok so this game ended in a 2-2 tie and went to PK's where we lost. 5-4 it was a back and forth round of PK's to match an equally back and forth game. there were a LOT of uncalled fouls mostly tripping and not playing the ball. and the game should have never went into PK's due to a non-called goal by Josiah it hit the pad and everyone on the court called it even the opposing team but the refs neglected to call another goal costing the Piggly Wiggly's another game due to a round of PK's

another frustrating moment is when i could have went in upon numerous occasions but because of the advise of the doctors on my sprains and concussion i decided it would be the best idea to remain on the bench and just support morally. it was a well played game with a lot of yelling and bickering between teams but not as violent as the last. the fouls that were called were mostly minor nit-picking stuff with not much value. and truly no reason to be called other than to burn up the clock. and tick away pointless seconds that could have been used in-game. i don't believe that this game was a complete loss other than on the record. i think we improved our PK skills because the last game that went to PK's we got decimated during them. this week only a few got through and that was no ones fault.

it was a well played game by all. and i look forward to commenting on the next game. which is monday and the start of the playoffs. we might have a double header. but more details will be given... just keep a look out for updates on my facebook or on here. i'll keep ya'll informed. smooth sailing and goodnight.

hey so im just sitting here thinking how in the world do i get 116 profile views when i only have one follower... and that's my girlfriend. she has 5 followers and only has 86 most of which are from me. ok i was just wondering about that and thought it was funny. so today is thursday. im not really sure the significance of today. i know its the day after me and melody's 16 month anniversary and the day before starshine (her prom) so i just realized i am like really super bored right now cause i was just singing gollum's song from when he is about to get shot by the gondorians ... so yeah im bored

tonight is the indoor soccer match 4 im really excited but at the same time i am really sad because i wont be competing tonight due to the injuries i sustained monday night. but a quick update on that my leg isn't swollen as bad. i slept on the couch again last night and had it elevated on a few pillows. i didn't really sleep that great but my leg isn't swollen as bad, that i can tell right now. but i will be at the game tonight and in the bleachers where i got hurt monday to cheer on my team

i cant wait for tomorrow because its starshine. and i cant wait.. cause its going to be so much fun

Indoor Soccer Match Three

tonights game was a violent turn of events for me.

the game started out normal other than i got to start this game... before the first half was over i was fighting for the ball and got my legs kicked out from under me and landed flat on my bad knee and then it got landed on by the other guy... i was in so much pain i couldn't even call my own foul. chip had to call it for me and then help me up. well i stayed out for a little while and then went back in and got headbutted in the face and busted my bottom lip... so thats two fouls... and the worst is yet to come. in the second half i was going to get the ball and got surrounded and checked up into the bleachers hit the side of my head, and then went down and hit the back of my head and thats when i blacked out. i woke up with someone from the other team trying to help me up. ive been told i was out from 30 seconds to a minute. so after that i was out of the game and i felt really bad cause we didn't have any more replacements i was the only sub left. we won the game 1-0. well after we got back in the room i started feeling lightheaded and dizzy and nauseous and so phillip decided that it would be best to call EMT to check for a concussion. so the EMT showed up and recommended that i go to the ER and get looked at. so we went to the ER and i got looked at and ended up getting 7 x-rays and 2 CT scans 3 x-rays on my neck and 4 on my knee. then i went back in the room i was in and got greeted by my two best friends in the entire world my girlfriend and my roommate. the results came back and i have a mild concussion, and a sprained knee. the only thing the doctor prohibited me from doing ... i am not allowed to play ANY contact sports for two weeks so that means no soccer playoffs. :'(
so my first season i helped get us to the playoffs and wont be able to participate in them

its a real bummer cause i was looking forward to playing cause i really seem to have a passion for this game. and now i can't do what i was looking forward to doing all over some stupid injury. but i wont miss a game... i am going to be at every game, every practice, every meeting they have cause im still part of the team.. no matter how hurt i am...

so today has been a very bitter sweet day. i got my tux this morning for melody's prom friday, we won the game tonight, i can't play for the rest of the season, i am in really bad pain, i got to see melody which was good, but i was laid up in a hospital bed which wasn't good, i have a concussion and a sprained knee. which all suck.. and so i think im gonna try and fall asleep since it is now 2:34 a.m.

hmm Sleeplessness strikes again

ok so its another twelve o'clock midnight post... sitting here bored and tired but unable to go to sleep so i am sitting here staring at the computer screen and wondering why i cant go to sleep. i found out earlier that my papa was taken to the hospital from what we think was a stroke. and now i know im not going to be able to sleep. and if i do it wont be well... and tomorrow i have to be up at 10 for chapel then class at 12 and then maybe going to get my tux if it is ready tomorrow and then tomorrow night i have our third soccer game. and im still drained from this weekend so tuesday i am going to be dead after our game tomorrow night and then tuesday morning i have to get up at 8 for class at 9:25 and then im not going to be able to catch up on any sleep and i dont know whats going to happen with my papa yet so i dont know how that is going to turn out. so i dont know exactly how draining this week is going to be. and honestly i dont know how much more i can take. im just going to hopefully take this week one day at a time and just make it to friday. cause friday will be good cause it's starshine and i'll get to spend time with melody and get to hold her tight as we dance through the night. and as long as i can get to then i will be fine.

the only thing keeping me calm right now is this v8 splash mango and peach drink... cause somehow peach is a very soothing taste for me... its soft and warm. it makes me feel at home wherever i am. i want to have a peach tree. cause i want to be able to lift my kids up to its branches and let them taste the same taste that i find so comforting now. that is a long time in the future but i just want to be able to pass something on to someone. im not sure why but i've always wanted to be able to do that. or teach someone a sport or something like that. i havn't been able to do that either. i just want for my life to count for something. me to have had some use in the world.

im just tired and want to sleep but i know sleep wont happen. so i'll try and go lay down and maybe sleep some...

WE WON 3-2

if i didn't play such a good game i would just leave it at that... and leave you with suspense on what exactly happened . lol so yeah i played back center most of the game i only played up once the whole game... i got a lot more playing time this game.. and really enjoyed it.

i had 4 blocks and 5 steals ... so i had a great game and everyone on my team let me know that by all congratulating me at the end of the game... i was able to keep both feet on the floor and stay up right this game which was a big change from last game where i got uprooted.

well it was a great game but not without injuries. phillip rolled his left ankle, chips knee kept popping out of place, and joseph got uprooted and landed on his banged up knee and elbow and started bleeding so he was taken out for medical reasons... but other than than everyone played a safe great game .... it was a lot of fun to be involved in a win =]]

thank you to those who were there physically and those who wanted to be there but couldn't make it out tonight...

quick update

yeah i know i havn't really been keeping up with my blog this week. its been a rough week and really stressful. i had a lot of tests and quizzes and such.. and idk i guess it is all hitting me right now after its all over but my chest is really hurting like in a line straight across my chest... idk what it is. but it hurts pretty bad. and so i just thought id write about it since thats about all i can do.
if it gets any worse i will be going to the emergency room . and you will know this cause it will be on my facebook status so yeah... im in pain so im going now =]

not the easter of the world where a over=sized bunny comes in and gives all the kids chocolate, or the easter where you take your kids to the mall and they have their picture taken with the pervert/pedophile in the bunny suit. but the Easter of the risen Savior Jesus Christ. that's the only easter i want to celebrate. the only one that matters. the only one that proves that what i along with millions of others believe is true. that Jesus Christ was hung on a cross, accepted all the sins of the world, died as the ultimate sacrifice so that each and everyone of us could be forgiven, and three days later rose again, and is sitting on the throne in Heaven. and i can't wait to see Him. i sure am enjoying my life here on earth while it is mine to live. but oh what a celebration it will be when He comes to take me home.
